Canada's requirements are visitor requirements plus a remote-work boundary. You are not applying for a special nomad visa. You are asking to enter as a visitor while continuing foreign-source work that does not compete in Canada.
What to prove
- You qualify for eTA or visitor visa entry based on nationality.
- You will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay.
- You have enough funds for housing, travel, and daily expenses.
- Your work is for a foreign employer, your own foreign business, or foreign clients.
- You will not take Canadian employment or provide services to Canadian clients without a work permit.
Border folder
Carry an employer letter or client contracts, recent pay evidence, bank statements, accommodation details, return/onward travel, and travel health insurance. The cleaner your foreign-work story is, the less your file looks like undeclared Canadian work.
